Tess joined the °®Å¾Íø in August of 2022 as an instructor of nursing for the Carolyn McKelvey School of Nursing. She began her career in nursing in May 2016. In practice she has worked as a CVICU nurse, oncology nurse, and float pool nurse. She has also served in leadership positions as a charge nurse, oncology/float pool supervisor, and new graduate preceptor. Precepting new graduate nurses helped her discover her love for teaching and led her to becoming a nursing instructor.
As a registered nurse, her professional memberships include the American Nurses Association, Arkansas Nurses Association, and Center to Advance Palliative Care.
