Den Day Invites Students to Explore Life as a Lion

The University of Arkansas at Fort Smith will welcome prospective students and their families to Den Day on Wednesday, April 15, with a half-day program designed to introduce future Lions to academic programs, student services, and campus life.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the UAFS campus. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet faculty members from a range of majors, explore student support services, and take personalized campus tours. Den Day also will include prize opportunities and scholarship giveaways.

The schedule begins with check-in and a Majors Mixer from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a welcome session from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Academic sessions will run from 10:30 to 11 a.m., and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., students and guests can take part in lunch, the Bell Tower Takeover, campus tours, and pop-up activities.

Den Day is geared toward future Lions who want to take a closer look at UAFS before enrolling and is designed to give prospective students a chance to connect directly with faculty, staff, and their future peers while experiencing the campus firsthand.
